What size storage unit do I need?

It depends on what you are putting in it.

Work out your size

The rooms you are storing decide the size.

Not sure? Most of the units here are the 10 × 10: a one bedroom apartment, furniture included, $85 per month.

Every size, drawn

The sizes we rent, drawn to scale

Looking straight down at the floor, with the door at the left. Every plan is drawn to the same scale: the 10 × 20 has 4 times the floor of the 5 × 10.

At this scale: a car, 16 feet long.

And a sofa, 7 feet.

These are floor plans: width and depth. We have not published an inside height, so if you are stacking to the ceiling, ask us first.

What a square foot costs

Our arithmetic, if you want to check it

The price divided by the floor area, for every size we rent. It is the sum most people do in their head halfway down a page like this one.

SizeFloorPrice per monthPer sq ft
5x1050 sq ft$45$0.90
10x10100 sq ft$85$0.85
10x15150 sq ft$120$0.80
10x20200 sq ft$170$0.85

The cheapest square foot is usually not the right unit. A bigger space you half fill costs more every month than the smaller one you needed.

Every size, and what fits

The size groups

Large
A two to four bedroom house, a full move, or a business’s stock and equipment.

The 5 × 10 is the smallest unit we rent. Every unit is the same drive up build, and none of them is climate controlled.
