Terms of use

These cover this website. Your rental agreement covers your unit, and it is the one that counts.

What these terms cover

These terms are about using this website. It publishes what My Storage, LLC charges and how the facility works, and it lets you ask for a unit.

They are not your rental agreement. The agreement you sign when you rent a unit governs the unit, your account, your things and everything either side owes the other. Wherever this website and that agreement could be read differently, the agreement is what counts.

What is published here

Every price, size, hour and policy on this site is one we charge or one we set. Never an estimate, and never a guess to fill a gap. They can change: what applies to you is what is in the agreement you sign, on the day you sign it.

The sizes and prices are on their own page, with what it costs to move in on each one.

Asking for a unit is not renting one

Sending the reservation form asks us for a unit. It takes no payment, asks for no card, and is not a rental agreement. Nothing is settled until you have spoken to us and signed.

The reservation form is the only form on this site.

Insurance

Insurance is not required. A discounted policy is available, and the options and prices are shown at the time you rent. Declining it requires a signed liability release waiver.

Any policy offered is a third party’s. My Storage, LLC does not insure the things you store, and the rental agreement says so directly.

Using the site

Use it to find out about storage and to ask for a unit. Do not use the form to send anything abusive, and do not try to send it automatically: it accepts 6 sends every 15 minutes from one connection.

The photographs on this site are of this facility and belong to the business. The words are ours. Please do not republish them as your own.

Accuracy, and when the site is wrong

A price on this site is a price we charge, and nothing is invented to fill a gap. Even so, a website can be out of date, and this one can be down for maintenance or for reasons nobody planned. If something here matters to your decision, ring us and check it before you rely on it.

Nothing on this website is legal advice, and no page of it is a promise that a unit of any particular size is free on any particular day.

Where this site sends you somewhere else, to a tenant portal for paying a bill or to a map, that place has its own terms and its own privacy practices, and we do not control them.

The law that applies

This site is published from South Carolina and the facility is in South Carolina. Self storage in this state is governed by the South Carolina Self-Service Storage Facility Act, which sets out how facilities and tenants deal with each other.

The rental agreement is where that Act is actually applied to you, including how notices reach you. This website does not settle any of it and does not stand in for anything the agreement says.

Changes to these terms

These can change as the site does. The date at the top is when they last said something different.
